Honoring The American Worker


Monday is Labor Day in the United States.

English: Labor Day Parade, Union Square, New Y...

Most people take it to mean a long weekend from work or school, a chance to watch the last parade, cook the last bbq, head for the pool one last time, as the holdiay signifies the end of summer.  There really is a history of the day though.  History.com does a great layout of the history of the movement and subsequently the holiday.  You can read the history and also watch some slideshows HERE.
