Olympics Remembered


Sunday is the last day, closing the Summer Olympics until 2016.  Long after the athletes’ records have faded, certain images always remain.  Michael Phelps winning #22.  Amy Franklin winning her first.  Usain Bolt bursting across the finish line. Or Mo Farah.  Andrew Murray winning gold on home soil.  So many great memories.  And there are images of the city that played host to the games, iconic landmarks that became a little more famous because of the Olympics.  This is my favorite shot from Tower Bridge, the full moon rising underneath the Olympic Rings:
