Weekly Photo Challenge: Friendship

I am combining my normal “Wednesday’s Word” with The Daily Post’s “Weekly Photo Challenge”.  This picture, I think, says it all, taken on the walking path on West St. in Manhattan, on the way to Battery Park and the Financial District.

As I walked down towards the 9/11 Memorial, I wondered what it may have been like that fateful day, walking or running up this same street, with questions running through my head if loved ones were safe….
