“It pays to know the enemy – not least because at some time you may have the opportunity to turn him into a friend.” ~Margaret Thatcher

Do you ever think about the possibility that an enemy could eventually be a friend?  I know there was a time I didn’t always feel that way.  Sometimes when we let ourselves get so set in our ways we tend to lose sight of what’s important: to show kindness to others, to help someone in need, whether the person is a friend or not. And who knows whether your act of kindness could be the beginning of a great friendship?
