Yesterday morning saw blizzard conditions in some areas, and icy cold temps after the skies cleared last night. Today, bright sunshine erased most of what was on the roads, and temps are heading back up to bring a warm(er) weekend. Thankful for the 300+ days of sunshine in this State!

t of the benefit concert for those affected by Hurricane Sandy. It always amazes me the people who come together to help others. Old and new faces together, but especially impressed by those whose “prime” was 30,40 or even 50 years ago. Thankful for artists who use their talents for good…
Today I am grateful for choices – decisions I can make no matter what the circumstances. To choose between right and wrong, to choose to forgive, to choose to be at peace. Some of us don’t think we have choices in certain circumstances. I believe we always have a choice, and sometimes we just need to see more simply to choose what is right.

We are now officially in the Holiday Season – right after Thanksgiving, I so look forward to getting the Christmas decorations out and getting the house looking like Christmas. Although Colorado has still been warm, and very dry, it will be Christmas soon! I am grateful for this time of year, bringing back wonderful memories of family, friends, great foods and celebrations.
